My roomy is going through hell right now because of the reefer madness.  Madness I tell you!  He slipped and fell at a client site, tried not to file a WC claim, but one thing led to another and he was tested.  Likely to lose his job still, though now he's going to Marijuana Anonamous meetings...

Speaking of drugs: I picked up a CD of the collected works of lost Chicago psychedelic band H.P. Lovecraft whis weekend. Those dudes were on some serious chemicals.

That is some scary shit, sir. I'm knocking on my woodene head for luck that they don't institute a drug-test policy here at my job.

Of course, when your job is as dead-end as this- I think they kinda hope you are on drugs- so's you won't notice.

That band's a staple on the Technicolor Web of Sound radio station I've been listening to in recent weeks.  I don't "get" them.

Don't have Showtime, only willing to pay for one premium channel, and barely that.  But "Deadwood" keeps me at HBO, for now.

I like a lot of their ongs & sound. But, yeah- at times it's almost like a parody of the genre...
