Heard the set in the car, called Dave & said "I wanna be an airborne Ranger & vote for U2", which made him chuckle.

My other BOS woulda been for the Police, a song that was killer in concert when I saw them in 83.  But it instead of 'foodstamps', I usually flash on Young Frankentstein, the part where Kenneth Mars as the constable is so impossible to undersatnd through his thick accent that he has to repeat himself: "Voot shtops, voot shtops!  He's following in his father's voot shtops!"
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

--Carlos Santana, 2010

OK, at least it was just 1983. Had just booted the computer, connected to the stream and was hearing the bumper that leads into 10@10...and the power went out. For about 2.5 hours. So instead of working, I got to spend a couple hours writing Christmas cards (a nice, low-tech, no-electricity-required pastime).  It was a balmy 17 degrees out when I got up this am, but thankfully it's warmed up to 24 now.
Let's get right to it.

Which seems to have killed your DM avatar.

Plus, the link to the football pool is not working.  I'd make fun of them, but I know how things go when you release a new app.   :o

Somebody better tell Darryl--his 10@10 setlist grabber is gonna be all ferkakte again.

They did it sometime between 10am and 1pm today--it was the old design when I hit the stream (in vain) this morning right before the power died. But when I came back on this afternoon, it was all new.
Let's get right to it.

Surreally, it hit 61 here in NYC this afternoon.  I just don't know what to expect anymore.
