Summer of '69 in '85, as usual. Not an auspicious start.

another WOS for .. you know.. CRAPTON!

ETA: I'm guessing the title is "See What Love Can Do."  Maybe it can change the station?

I saw John Fogerty play this in '91 (?) at the Golden Gate Park Polo fields in the tribute to the departed Bill Graham, and I found that I *liked* hearing it!  John put on a good show, and I believe the Dead -- who also played there that day -- were his backing band that day.   do I have that right?  anyone recall?

anyway, HM for a song we hear all the time, which I originally didn't care for, but then I came me to like.  Plus, it's about baseball....

One of the great bungled lyrics of the decade:

"You can't sleep, you can't eat
There's no doubt, you're in deep"

wouldn't "you're in heat" have made more sense, and also rhymed better, than "you're in deep"?

I see your point, but I get the deep addiction thing, too.  "You're in heat" sounds very primal, too.

They prob thought of that one, but I but it didn't poll (pole?) well.
