Didn't we hear this Classic somewhat recently??
We heard "sushi girl" in our last '81 set (August) but it wasn't the TOTHK then.
WOS "Lunatic Fringe", which I'm quite tired of.
VHM Ultravox.
Maybe we haven't heard this set in awhile, but after listening to 10at10 for 20 years, I recognize certain sets.  I'm sure you all do too!

oh, absolutely.   F&TKs: great pop single or cheap Michael McDonald rip-off? You be the judge.

Hmmm, somehow the idea of drugging Julie Andrews to convince her to pop her top doesn't seem all that funny.

it was in 1981, trust me. A great H'wood satire if you've never seen it.
I did see it.  Plenty of boobs.  I enjoyed it.  But still...

This and the Ultravox are the only songs worthy of a BOS in my book. OK, and the Jam, even if it's one of the few Jam songs we hear.
Let's get right to it.

one of the rare occasions that Dave didn't make a big deal of "BDE" being "the number one single for the entire year".

given that prior to '05, there was a long period of "no BOS ties allowed" because of the Big Rick BOS replay, I'm guessing it may be rather old.

And Robert Preston was even better in S.O.B. than he was in Victor/Victoria.

Did I ever mention my day spent as the chauffer for Julie & Blake & their two adopted daughters?  Whenever I tell a few of my celebrity encounters from those days I often get asked who was really rotten, and I always say that I never had a negative experience. But that Julie Andrews was by far the nicest.  Just a fantastic lady.

6.  Frankie & the Knockouts – Sweetheart (BEST OF SET!!)

Just for the sake of the database - I'm 90% sure he spelled it "Franke," no "i."
