"when the kingdom comes"? NTM -- anybody?

Voice sounds familiar, but I'm drawing a blank.
Let's get right to it.

No idea, but I'm not rushing out to buy it, whatever it is.  Good for variety, but pretty ponderous.  Sounds vaguely "Cocteau Twins"-like, though not as good.

No clue here.  I might have guessed Shakespeare's Sister.

I wonder sometimes where Dave finds this obscure '90s stuff that wasn't played on KFOG at the time, when there's enuf good recognizable pop stuff available.

VHM Knopfler/Straits/ Notting Hillbillies/whatever.

Look at them yo-yos, that's the way you do it.  You play the guitar like you did on your last hit.

My guess is the Roches - I like them

BOS Knopfler. Yup, he's got an indentifiable riff, and it's always good.

Ho-hum Heavy Fuel. Knopfler's turned the "Money for Nothing" riff sideways and is milking it for a little more mileage.
Let's get right to it.

wow, that AIDS PSA was NTM -- be afraid!

BOS3 Jeebus Jones, "Real Real Real", just 'cause it's not "Right Here..."

Was inthe car for the first part & had to phone in my BOS for Jesus Jones.  This was really a fine album top to bottom.

And BOS #2 to an Anita Hill clip that didn't lead us into "Breaking The Girl".

I thought that was Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries.  Not at all sure though.

ETA: scratch that, '91 is too early for them.

Bush, for a change of atmosphere?  Too bad Bush pere never taught Bush fils how to use big words like "tirelessly" and "catalyst."

But "situation no-win" is all too fitting this week.

HM for "Rush" though I imagine it's veering into Katrina territory for 91.
