I understand how we operate here -- we're like Chicago elections: "Vote early and often" -- we can BOS any number of songs as the 10@10 set progresses -- so I ask anyone: does anyone ever contact Dave Morey (via phone, email or IM)  vote multiple times for more than just one song?  would Dave throw out the multiple voting from single party?

On rare occasions, if I've voted midset for a song, and then he plays something else I just GOTTA vote for I'll cast a second vote. I'll cop to it, but he's never made a fuss. Although If I vote for a tie between two songs, I think each one only gets tallied half a vote.
Let's get right to it.

I've never tried to change my vote.  But I've heard if you ask him, he doesn't want to let you do it, but I suppose there are always exceptions.

Hey, a good rockin' set, think I'll tape it tonight!
BTW, we had about 10 members and a few guests onboard today, maybe the most in awhile!

Quite so.  This is really a good song, way better than most of Foreigner's output, with the possible exception of "Blue Morning Blue Day", which is pretty swell as well.

I suspect RGMike thinks the song is not that good?

actually this and "Blue Morning..." are my 2 faves from this LP. But I thought the seg from KC to Foreigner kinda brought the mood down a notch.

if I went 'round sayin' I was Emperor, just because some moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

can't ever have too many Python quotes in a thread.

To Tinka's question, I have on occasion voted both by phone & email just to give my favored tune an extra vote, and more than once Dave has announced that it won BOS by one vote.  Haven't done that lately though.

And personally, I hardly ever vote officially anymore at all.  I'll send an occasional IM if I'm am sufficiently motivated, but it's rare.  I think the last time was a Strictly Instrumental set where Dave finally played "Whammer Jammer".
