so, shouldn't Manfred Mann's "Spirit in the Night" be a '77 track, if it was the follow-up to "Blinded..."? or did it actuallly come first and then get later re-released?

I *think* "Spirit in the Night" came first, barely charted; and then when "Blinded By the Light" became such a surprisingly massive hit, "Spirit" was re-released.
