"he's dancing his way back to me,
he's dancing his way back tooooo me"

i don't know what song that is, but i think that melody was lifted from "fire on high."

why play satriani when you could play beck?

And Scottish Tea at #2. Just the thing for a case of Classical Gas.

I'm betting we get Ronnie Montrose's Town Without Pity before it's all over.

If there was a big crossover of Bone listeners this morning, then maybe.  I bet we get some Jeff Beck & fer sure some Stevie Ray.

Any chance of a jazz ringer, like "Birdland" or "Take Five" or "Cast Your Fate To The Wind"?

These are Fogheads we're talkin' 'bout, folks. Predictable as fog in July.

Shannon, "Let the Music Play"?  I thought she cribbed that from Madonna.

OK. I'm waking up a little.

Speaking of the Bone- that A-Z was interesting. It looks like there's gonna a be a little variety to the "classic rock" as in 'stuff written after 1987'...

This BETTER NOT be the short version of Frankenstein.  It's an abomination I tell you!

EDIT:  Phew, it seems to be all there.

They're going for the old KSJO listeners who've been homeless of late. Homeless radio-wise, that is. Although I guess some of 'em... oh never mind.

I always thought it was "inspired" by "Into the Groove".

I think a great prank would be for Tune No. 10 to be Miami Sound Machine's "Words Get in the Way."

Here's Urth's Montrose anyway (of a sort).

This was just a workout song (minus the synths) that they band used for warmups, and they called it "The Double Drum Solo Song".  After deciding that the album needed one more tune they reworked it with the signature synth riffs, but took forever to come up with a title, nearly delaying the record's release.  I forget who got credit fro calling it Frankenstein, but the idea was that it was a beast that they had created that then ran amok.

Too bad he didn't do this set on Friday, then.

Here's yer WOS, or least-interesting anyway: "Time is Tight". VHM for me.
