Another BOS (and another bustout!): Derek & the Dominos, Little Wing.

Derek is Eric!

Derek = Eric

Eric = God

Therefore, Derek = God!

Michael McKean has a very intersteing Bio on IMDb.  His dad worked for RCA & was one of the founders of Decca records.  His drama teacher at NYU was Olympia Dukakis.  And his ancestor Thomas McKean signed the Declaration of Independence.
About 10 years ago I was at LAX waiting for flight back to Oakland. Michael McKean was sitting in the waiting area for that same flight, reading a trade newspaper called "Zoetrope."  It was definitely him, but I didn't bother him and it didn't seem anyone else recognized him.

and since I crap all over Eric so often: BOS5 D&TD.
Not so shocking. Can't argue the BOS! Sweet

Hard to imagine anyone improving on Jimi, but Eric and Duane did a mighty fine job....

Boz & Quicksilver for $2.88! WooHoo!  Break out the Mountain Dew!

EJ slows the pace a tad. Well, more than a tad.

Nice finish -- kind of brings us back to earth gently after a powerful set.

amazingly, Beaucoups of Blues (released in '70, and I assume the LP being referenced in the Tower ad) is $9.99 new/$7.74 used on amazon.com -- I figured it'd be closer to $2.88!

I'm feeling seditious today, so I'm hoping Dave will end this set with the Airplane's "Mexico."
I'm going to take a big fat guess (not knowing the answer yet!) that this didn't happen!  Good idea though!

One of my very favorite actors--even without the Spinal Tap connection. He's such a chameleon--he can assume all sorts of characters. One of my very favorites was a guest role he had on The X Files where his character switched bodies with Mulder. He was both dispicable and totally hilarious all at once. One of the most creative scripts I can recall on that series, and that's saying a lot.
