I can give them a VHM, but will have to hear the rest in the car - got a couple of appointments to go to.

Huge BOS for Widespread Panic, possibly my favorite band of the 90s.  I can't believe I haven't seen them live yet.

Based on getting to know Widespread Panic thru KFOG, I saw them at Warfield a few years ago. They've got quite a dedicated following.

potential BOS for me.  Matt Mundy (sp?) on mandolin from the Aquarium Rescue Unit at the time.  I used to work with WSP's bassist a lot back then, Dave Schools, who is a real nice guy.  I always felt like WSP was the band I'd most enjoy actually playing with among all the post-GD jam bands.  Great feel.

#2 was Portrait, Here We Go Again, #3 is one I know we've heard but I can't place it. Kind of a laconic groove, with mandolin over percussion. Tasmin Archer maybe? In any case, neither of these songs thrilling me much.

ETA: OK, was way off on that--it was Whitebread Picnic. Still no love from me.

#4 leaves me Cold (Tears For Fears). I'd better put on another layer.

It was fun when visiting my brother in Tempe AZ in early 90's to see these guys live and watch them become a national act.  Too bad the one guy killed himself. I believe they are playing a gig here this summer (in Danville!).
