BOS3 T.Heads, "Cities"!

Woo Hoo!

(btw, wtf is up with the WaMu ad campaign that spells it Whoo Hoo?)

we discussed that here the other day! -- my guess is that FOX may have the Homer Simpson "Woo Hoo" spelling copyrighted.

Looks like we're nearly unanimous--BOS, THeads.

"Did I mention, forget to mention Memphis?
Home of Elvis and the ancient Greeks!
What's that I smell?
I smell home cooking.
It's only the river. It's only the river!"
Let's get right to it.

here are the facts: San Diego was Jan 1979, Stockton was Jan 1989
(can you believe there's a webpage on this?!)

Must have been from eating too many McD's quarter pounders, Jane!!
Yeah, I can, since I was just looking at the wikipedia page to see if I could figure out the name of the girl that my old coworker was friends with.  Must have been Margarite Padilla, based on the ages given.  She apparently had ducked behind the counter, but when she saw a woman and child trying to sneak out the door and James Oliver Huberty turning around and taking aim at them, she grabbed a coffee pot and hurled it at him.  So he sprayed her across the chest with his automatic as they escaped.  My friend says that he and many others were already at the scene behind police lines when this happened.  Most heroic thing I've ever heard related to me first hand.
Wild stuff.  Imagine if you were in a shooting/hostage situation, what split-second decisions would you make and what would be the consequences??
Somehow Dire Straits/Once Upon A Time In The West sums up this discussion.

This set isn't risking 10-way tie territory (Thanks, Jane) but it's still sounding pretty darn good--a number of great songs and not so much of the frequent fliers. BOSX+1 to Once Upon a Time in the West.
Let's get right to it.

Our own fault maybe.  I always call in for that, but didn't this time.
