Brandy, you're a fine Katrina -- but a Katrina nonetheless. Now dump that drunken, whoring sailor, fer chrissakes!

And now, an old favorite from Lighthouse.  I still enjoy this one.

BOS, the Zepsters.

And now:

Katrina, you're a fine girl...
and any fool knows
a dog needs a home
a shelter
from pigs on the wing

The Looking Glass from New Brunswick, NJ, where I was living in 1972. Also home to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (Go Scarlet Knights!)

Something tells me we're gonna hear Argent in this set. Just a feeling.

Scrolling thru the list of Top 40 hits from '72 over on the Top-40 hits site, I am just amazed at the variety of stuff that charted in '72. Definitely one of the best years ever for pop music.

But we knew that.
Let's get right to it.

Kind of dug that montage--and here's what's likely to get my BOS vote: Jackie Wilson Said, Van at his absolute best.
Let's get right to it.

Hey, you just revealed The Colonel's secret recipe!

I pretty much lived on Italian Shake'n'Bake for several years back then.
