Summer of '69, er, '85  :o

the 2 best summers of Mr Adams' life, apparently.

Followed by the Mother of all Katrinas, which is almost sounding good by comparison--has it been redeemed?
Let's get right to it.

My attractive 20-something neighbor is named Summer. Shall I blast Summer '69 for her this first night of spring?? (devilish grin)

And now The Katrina of all Katrinas!

Katrina showed up last night on Jeopardy, too, under the category "H2O Music" -- Katrina and -- "what are the Waves".

Considering we heard "Skateaway" right before 10@10, this is a bit too much Straitness.

Remember a couple summers ago a limited run TV show called "Baby Hit Me One More Time" in which 70's/80's acts performed their hits. Animotion did "Obsession".  Kinda interesting/fun/weird to see these acts many years later.

I loved that show -- we had major discussion of it here, actually.

But it was Hit Me Baby, not Baby Hit Me...

Yeah, and this is probably the most lightweight track on Brothers in Arms. I'd much rather hear the title track, for instance, or Walk Across the River.
Let's get right to it.

Yes, you are CORRECT, sir!  Which reminds me, anyone catch that new South Park last night, about Britney Spears.  Whew, that episode really pushed the envelope!

Katrina is not really a 'Katrina' anymore, only showing up once/year in 1985 sets the past 3 years.  It gets into it's share of Summer/Sunshine theme sets though.

Second time we've heard Don't Come Around Here... this morning--Dave played it during 8am hour on the morning show today.
Let's get right to it.
