<--PS: Happy first day of Spring!
I hadn't realized today was the day - thanks!  Nice to see that things are, um, in bloom.
Yes, this afternoon you'll need to skinny dip under a waterfall

Glad I'm checking the posts! But I'm watching the tourney on CBS-online, it's a really good way to watch actually.

Wow!  BOS to one I don't think we've heard in a long time, Animotion's "Obsession."  I remember our Top 40 station being a little skittish about this at first.

This gives me faint hope that we'll get "Oh Sheila" before the set's over.

that would make my day ('cause what's good for the goose is *always* good for the gander).  "Obsession" was played once before, 3 years ago, per the shraytabase.

Remember a couple summers ago a limited run TV show called "Baby Hit Me One More Time" in which 70's/80's acts performed their hits. Animotion did "Obsession".  Kinda interesting/fun/weird to see these acts many years later.

I loved that show -- we had major discussion of it here, actually.

HM to Mr. Mister, one I heard a lot on school buses that fall.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Still a little early for an overall evaluation, but so far this set is doing a pretty good job of raising the bar for 85 sets. Althought Broken Wings doesn't exactly continue the trend.

Here's your Reagan clip, Wayback!

Hey, what's this track??

Eyes, by the Tubes, from their swansong LP, Love Bomb. Dave's played this a time or three. It's a total Narada, and reversing the trend I was hoping for in my previous post.

and now we're in complete reverse: Bryan Adams, as generic an evocation of 1969 as you could ever imagine
