T-Bone Burnett's lovely "River of Love" to start. I've only ever heard Ginger play this.

Then "I'll split like love refracted"!  BOS Pretenders, first heard in '85 in the movie Gung Ho! but not an official release until '86.

Not sure if "Cash Talkin'" is from The Color of Money, but cute segue in any case.

WOS to Jackson Browne - intelligent lyrics, but dull music, and the woodwinds sound like they're played by one of those cloned sherpa-clad outfits up by Fisherman's Wharf.

You're a "Super Patriot" now.  Is that a good thing?

Pennsylvania's own Stabilizers!

I faintly remember this song, but didn't know about the PA connection.

Certainly not the first band that springs to mind when you say "'80s synthesizer pop"...

For that, we roll tape to HoJo.  Maybe ...?

Woo Hoo!

Just noticed your posts had a new "rank" (what do we call those things anyway?) and a row of smileys instead of stars. 30002 and counting! Many congrats on your, umm, loquaciousness, and thanks for keeping the conversation going!
Let's get right to it.

Ginger wins segue of the week!  From girls on penicillin to the Fab T-Birds, um, "Wrap It Up."  I would too!
