The Peak, 03/13/08: It's 1975
« on: March 13, 2008, 07:14:09 AM »
Started with a rarity: Paul Simon and Phoebe Snow getting "Home at Last."  Then two frequent fliers: "Born to Run," "How Long."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

"Do you find me attractive as a man?"

"Yes, I think that's your best bet."

Oh-ho-HO, it's magic!

Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not Pilot's.

Holy crap, did he really play Patti Smith?  That woulda been BOM fer me.  Yet another frequent flier, esp lately: Jeff Beck.

Indeed he did.  My BOS votes go to that pleasant cover of Carole King's "Goin' Back" and to Roxy's "Out of the Blue."  Phasers on STUN!

Paul Simon w/Phoebe Snow Gone at Last
Bruce Springteen Born to Run
Ace How Long
Pink Floyd Have A Cigar
Pilot Magic
Patti Smith Group Gloria
David Bowie Young Americans
Nils Lofgren Goin' Back
Jeff Beck Freeway Jam
Roxy Music Out of the Blue

"That pleasant cover" was Nils Lofgren.  I'd've BOS'd that too.
