gosh, if bob played think's "once you understand" right now, that would be great.

no it wouldn't. One of the Worst. Records. Ever. Not even so-bad-it's-good. Just BAD.

Try sitting through a twin-spin of that and Victor Lundberg's "Open Letter to My Teenaged Son."

is Color My World cribbed from Ludwig Van?
The beginning just reminds me of Moonlight Sonata, but I'm pretty ignorant of classical music, so don't pay me no mind!

Sugarloaf musicality

I remember some musician friends of mine at the time really liked this song.  I was pretty green back then as a musician.  Nice guitar work, and the percussive organ stuff too.

It's the "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This" of its time: nice riff, but Run Into The Ground.

Indeed, I always associate the two in my mind.  At the time, there were 2 edits of the Think record -- one ends with "he died of an ovedose" followed immediately by the musical coda; the other has the (endless) breakdown-and-crying-jag by the father. Hearing that on Sunday morning during Casey Kasem (the only place in NY the song was heard) could REALLY put you off breakfast...

Spooky piano intro!  What a brilliant artist.  Great song.  Have y'all heard Eva Cassidy's version?

The WM stream is destroying the tone though.

Damn!  I was actually gonna predict "Woodstock" but forgot.  Doubt I would've guessed Joni's morose reading anyway.

No "pennant" means you won the league championship (and the right to challenge the other league's champ in the WS).
