Anyone else think the intro passage to ELO's Tightrope is cribbed from Funeral for a Friend?
It sounds similar elsewhere as well, but doesn't bug me.  I don't recall hearing it before...

Missed the selection process again, but tuned back in in time for the bonus: Aerosmith, Sweet Emotion. Was Alicat today's winner?!?
Let's get right to it.

No, and that wasn't even the bonus track.  It was Neil "Walk On".  Other choice was Santana.

Well, I'll be gah-damn. I tuned back in about 11:10, heard Aerosmith and assumed that was it. But Ali could have just as easily picked the Neil song--she's a fan there, too.
Let's get right to it.

Don's sounding much more robust than he did on SNL!

Meanwhile, we're all Too Old To Rock & Roll...

In his case I think he really is "Too Old To Rock 'N' Roll, Too Young To Die".

BOS Tull

BOS from me too.  I wonder what the Moody Blues would have done with this song.

Ooh, a serious challenge to Tull for BOS.  BOS2 for "Caves of Altamira".  Do the Dan.

Was a really nice segue out of the Pepsi song too, if such a thing is possible.

More Pepsi People

No mention of the Steve Miller?  Unexpected VHM from me - I don't remember this at all, though I see it appears twice in the Shraytabase.

HM as well to the Love Machines, who would find out on this album that Ain't Nobody Straight in L.A.

Yeah, I've had that thought before.

I missed the morning AND evening sets. Not the best ever 76 set but sorry to have missed it.

I'm just a too old singer in a too young rock'n'roll band.
