KKLZ's website says we're getting the year-end countdown of the Top 40 hits of 1977... but in '77 Casey did a 2-parter counting down the Top 100 (50 songs each week) so it's not clear what we'll hear. But here are the rundowns for both halves of that 2-parter:

   From what I've been hearing this weekends show will be an edited down version of part 2 of the top songs of 1977.  They will be playing the top 50 songs of 1986 on AT40-the 80's this weekend .  Who knows what they will play the following week on either show.

Hope that means they restored some unedited versions of songs to the show. 2 years ago they aired the 1978 2-parter of the Top 100 of that year; problem was they were 4-hour shows edited to fit into 3 hours! Nearly every song was a "quickie" version, and many were, like, 90 seconds long!

Oops: Casey plays "Hotel California" at #22 and says the Eagles are the only act in the countdown to have two #1 hits in 1977. Then at #21 he plays Stevie Wonder... who also had two #1 hits that year. Er...

1979 is the "lost" year in the syndicated (Premiere Network) version; The '70s package is all 3-hour shows and they apparently didn't want to edit the '79 shows or put them in the '80s package.

   Premiere would have to employ somebody full time to edit down the late '78 and '79 shows to 3 hours and they aren't going to put out the money to do that.

XM's 70's channel has Casey's year end show from 1972. They are playing the entire top 100 of 1972.

I know she did porn, but The Andrea True wikipedia entry reaffirms that "commercial" story:

"During her heyday as a porn actress, True was hired by a real estate business in Jamaica to appear in their commercial ads. During her stay on Jamaica, a political crisis gripped the island, and no one was allowed to leave with any money. Not wanting to lose her hard-earned pay, True asked her friend, record producer Gregg Diamond, to travel to the island and produce a track for her, which she would finance locally. Diamond arrived with a composition in hand, to which True added lyrics. The result of their collaboration was "More, More, More."

so that's just a spin..?  was she really there to film another adult movie?  was it called "Welcome To jamaica, Have A Nice Day"
