I *expect* mediocrity in any '92 visit ;)

BOS U2, I can't think of too many things that might arrive to blow me away in this year.

well, maybe Billy Ray Cyrus or Shanice, but I'll be floored if Dave plays either

Here's one that's worthy of a BOS if not a blow-away candidate: Chili Peppahs, Give At Away.

I remember going into an audio store on Van Ness about 15 years ago with a friend who was looking to buy some speakers, and he brought this album to demo them with. We had this song cranked in one of the listening rooms when a salesman came in to complain that there were kids in the store and could we pick something else to listen to. We took our business elsewhere.

Dig the little trill Anthony adds to the line "give it away now!"
Let's get right to it.

BOS from me, and a proxy of my 8-yr old son, Adrian.  One of his favorites, along with "Shake Some Action"

Resounding WOS to Dada's "Dizz Knee Land," which I found as unclever on the first listen as on the hundredth.

Tell Adrian "Shake Some Action" is one of Uncle Joe's favorites as well!

Interesting clip on the Rodney Kiing riots.  I've always felt that the media coverage was part and parcel with the conflagration.

Nah, I'm gonna tell him you don't like Diz Knee Land, and the next time he sees you he's gonna poke you in the eye!

That 92 LA Riot was whack!  I was working Kearny & Market SF then and there was also a small riot in that area that night, breaking store windows between Union Sq and Embarcadero!
