Place your bets for 1974 possibilities: Eagles, America, Elton John, Doobies, BTO, Eric Clapton, Barry White, Chicago, Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell...

That train kept a rollin'...paging Ms. Alicat!

ETA: Upon further reflection, is this from '74? I thought this was on their Live Bootleg, which wasn't out for at least a couple years, iirc.
ETA2: Never mind. It was on Get Your Wings, which was from '74. Pass the coffee...

Great candid Nixon stuff.  Never heard that before.

And Mondo Pretenso from ELO.

Yeah, Dave's had some new soundbites/actualities for this new year.

Agreed--that bit about catching him picking his nose was classic. However, he sounds anything but contrite, considering he was minutes away from announcing his resignation. Wotta weasel..

Still, it has to be said that playing tracks from live albums is about the rarest thing Dave does, so it was pretty interesting just for that reason.  Think of all the other great live albums he's never dipped into.

Solid BOS, FMac with Bob Welch--Silverheels.

If I could sing like Paul McCartney, get funky like Etta James....

I never would have guessed who this was.  I thought it might be Nils Lofgren.  I like the riff borrowed from "Jet".
