Guessing that should be '91, but there was some sound effect that stepped all over the year.

BOS "Texarkana", which I just added to my MP3 player, but it hasn't come around yet on random play.  So it's nice to hear it today.

Best vocals, too - I wish he'd taken more leads (and sang more blgd vox on their more recent stuff).

I was gonna comment on that. Gaz, your avatar is in the Datebook of today's Chron--Selvin reviewed her show here over the weekend.

Those Milli Vanilli refunds were bullshit - people bought those records because they liked the songs, not because Rob and Feb themselves were known commodities.  I don't think anyone was defrauded except the people who sang the vocals, and from what I've heard they knew what they were getting into.

And I wish Dave had followed that with "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You," the only bona fide solid single from all their hits.

Their drummer, Bill Berry, had an aneurysm IIRC, and retired shortly thereafter.

not sure i agree with you on "girl i'm gonna..." but since the only other mv song i can think of at the moment is "blame it on the rain". i'll let it be.
