Seems like it should be about time to hear Bridge School lineup and on sale date. Waiting.... It's Oct 22/23.
Yes, 'tis the season! I went to 5 Bridge School shows in the '90s. I might go again, depending on the lineup, and can meet the Alicat.

I go every year, lineup doesn't matter. Happy to see/hear Neil. Others are a bonus. I have MANY fine show memories. Gazoo went with me two years ago. (I think 2 years ago).  Geoff and I have seen each other at two Dead shows at Shoreline.

I'll put this in Concert Thread as there are live bands, but its soooo much more!  Food fight!!
Tomato hurling battle headed to Alameda County fairgrounds
http://www.insidebayarea.com/top-stories/ci_18830401
A Seattle-based company is bringing a massive tomato fight to the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton on Saturday, October 1st, complete with beer and a battle of the bands.
Tomato Battle is a daylong event at which revelers pay a fee to enjoy beer, music and to pelt other fans with thousands of pounds of tomatoes in an hourlong battle.
Like the famous annual event in Spain, "It is super fun," said Nelson. "Everyone is in costume and covered in tomatoes. There is no way that this is not going to be a good time."
The company has events booked in Seattle, Pleasanton, Pomona (L.A.) and Dallas, and it hopes to expand to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Florida, Georgia and Australia.  For details www.tomatobattle.com

I hope to go both days.  I'll have just seen the Foos Oct 19. Roger Daltrey will be in San Jose Oct 21 so maybe a surprise drop in on Saturday's Bridge? I think I saw Cindy Blackman sitting in on drums at the Boston show I was at in Concord years ago. Was fantastic. Could it have been her?

Isn't Lindsey Buckingham playing around someplace in the near future? I understand he's cheaper.

I think he's at the Regency Ballroom soon..

I just got this PR via emai:

LIVERMORE, CA – (September 9, 2011) – The only artist ever to receive Grammy Awards in all three categories – music, lyrics and orchestration – legendary singer-songwriter Jimmy Webb will play an intimate concert in Livermore this September. Since his arrival on the music scene in the 1960s, Webb has had an immense influence on American songwriting. His extensive catalog of chart-topping classics includes “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” and “Worst That Can Happen,” which have been called by The Los Angeles Times “some of the most elegantly crafted compositions of the last half century.” Webb will appear for a single performance at the Bankhead Theater on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2011.

etc.

Tue Sep 27, at 7:30pm   $18/$29/$40/$14 students

Yeah, I went.  The sound was excellent; 3D was kind of inconsistent.  Still, it was nice to see since I missed him at the Greek this summer.
