it's exactly as common as Third World, which is to say only once or twice per year.

Elaine Chalmos (?) -- did she later become Elaine Corrall? Sounded like her.

speaking of Cincy, I see Dusty Baker's agreed to manage the Reds next year.

That's good, 'cause he was pretty useless sitting in for Joe Morgan as Jon Miller's sidekick on a couple playoff radio broadcasts I heard in the past week.

And when you're useless in comparison to Morgan... that's SAYING something.

At least Miller never had to directly ask Morgan, "so what do you think of that?"  If your play by play man has to come out & request commentary from you, you pretty much suck as a commentator.  Seriously, Dusty sounded like he was being prevented from finishing his nap.

First trip to '79 in nearly two months--August 23 was the last time here.

Hoping we get a deep track off Armed Forces--maybe Party Girl or Two Little Hitlers?

I was hoping for "Green Shirt", but will still give another BOS to "Accidents Will Happen".

Yep, we got the single instead of a deep cut, but I'd never complain about Accidents Will Happen. Big sledgehammer for me with this song, have to tell you about it some time.
Let's get right to it.

Me too, but pretty sure this belongs in 1980.

You know what I'm suddenly craving...Patrick Hernandez.

Ervin Johnson wasn't yet "Magic"?  That clip's gotta be new.

And BOS to "Dim All the Lights."

I have a feeling Dave knew that, but it threw me for a second.
