I don't know.  It begins and ends in the trenches, and watching JaMarcus run for his life won't be any more fun than watching McCown or Culpepper do the same.  O-line woes on both sides of the bay.  Oakland's d-line isn't very good either -- 30th in run defense.

This would be a lot more entertaining if the niners and raiders were both good, and we were arguing over which one was the best in the league. :roll:

Pretty dismal time for pro football in the bay area. When has there been a time when both teams sucked so badly? When the Niner had their "dark years" in the 70s, the Raiders were in their glory, and both teams were good or great in the 80s. I guess the latter part of the 90s was kinda rough.

Looks like you may be right... unfortunately it doesn't look like you picked any of 'em :wink:

Meanwhile, GB/MIN was turning into a blowout (GB 27 MIN 0 in the 3rd) so FOX switched to PHI/WAS, a much closer game.

Spent the day in the mountains for a badlyy-needed getaway, and just now saw the days scores.  I'm 6-7 on the day, so whatever expertise I ever pretended to have, pay no attention.

It was kind of like I felt a disturbance in the force.  I had no idea where it was going to come from, just that it was going to come.  The end of that IND game was bizarre indeed.

Those totals are after last week's games; this week has not been posted yet.

Like Ali, I'm sittin' at 5, and it looks like Gaz has taken the week with a mighty 7 going into tonight's game. I'll be curious to see what the best score for the week for the entire pool is tho--if it's above 10, I'd be amazed. So many upsets this week it wasn't funny.
