Damn, this Johnny Nash nugget is new to me: "You Got Soul", apparently his follow-up to "Hold Me Tight".

Back to CBS-FM for while, and I get the 5-D's "Stoned Soul Picnic". Trains of possum, er, blossoms!

The flames are now lickin' Elvis' body again.  Lawd have mercy!

Has Little Richard ever done of cover of Burnin' Love? It'd give new meaning to the line "Help me, I'm flaming".

A Google search done out of curiosity suggests no, but it would please me to no end if one of our 10@10 DJs would pepper a 1986 set with Aunt Alice's "Great Gosh A-Mighty."

Wow, Judge is sitting in for JJ on KPOO tonite -- that never happens, usually some engineer just plays James Brown CDs for 4 hours.  But he just played the Sylvers' "Cotton Candy", their follow-up to "Boogie Fever", which failed to hit the Pop Top 40.

Little Steven is doing a salute to "Yellow Submarine", and in the first set he has played the Monkees' little-heard "Saturday's Child", which was written by... David Gates! I did not know that!  And I also did not know that "Hey Bulldog" started out as "Hey Bullfrog".
