Diggin' potatahs and pickin' tomaytahs with Junior Walker! And here's the Animals!

The Animals are the "musical guests" on NBC's American Dreams, which moves to Wednesdays this week, but I don't know what current youngster is playing Eric Burdon...

BOS Soupy Sales clip into "Eve of Destruction"! Even though I just hear this Sat nite (Dick Bartley), it still gives me chills.

The casting of "American Dreams" rock/soul stars must be the most fun job ever.  From what little I saw, I liked Nick Carter as Jay (of the Americans).  Eric Burdon would be a tough one, though.  Maybe the lead singer of 3 Doors Down?  Or the lead singer of Keane, if anyone would recognize him.

P.S.  What else did I miss before "Nowhere Man"?

WOS to Ba-ba-ran.  Not a bad song, I'm just not in the mood.  Would much rather hear Count Five's "Psychotic Reaction."

Oldies 1510 plays the original by the Regents (the BB's version was a cover) and actually... it IS a bad song.
