He started out OK but now Judge is playin' that same damn live Commodores album he played a few weeks ago. Guess he thinks his listeners have short memories.
Let's get right to it.

LOL!  But was he actually there, backannouncing stuff live? 'Cause the last few times I've listened, it didn't seem like he was actually there.  But on Mem'l Day his substitute was live and talking most of the time (until the last hour, which was a nonstop Rick James/Teena Marie fest).

He was definitely there for the first hour or so, but I think someone else came in around 1 and the Commodores thing started an hour or so later. And there was little or no commentary between sides--they mostly just let it spin. I tuned out before it was over--I didn't need to hear it again.
Let's get right to it.

OMFG! CG plays the Sutherland Bros & Quiver, "Arms of Mary" -- haven't heard this in decades.

It's another one for Gaz's "deflowering songs" list -- "she took the pains of boyhood/and turned them into joyhood"

And Dean followed it with "Maggie May", continuing a theme.

Miss Mavis feels like a Butterfinger. I'm in the mood for a Baby Ruth or a Snickers myself.

OMG! WLNG plays the Giorgio (Moroder) version of "Son of My Father", an almost-hit from '72.  (The Brit version by Chicory Tip was a UK #1)

Little Steven is doing his salute to the 40th anniv of Monterey Pop. This is gonna be good.

Didn't Dave say on his blog that he was looking for another anniversary to celebrate after Sgt Pepper was such a big 10@10 success?
