Leading off with...The Streak!

Don't look, Ethel!!

ETA: Why oh why did they feel the need to include a laugh track with this song? I realize it's a novelty, but jeez. Dickie Goodman didn't add a cheezy laugh track to his stuff, did he?
Let's get right to it.

I always wondered if it's a laugh track or if he actually recorded it in front of an audience. Iit sounds awful enuf, sound-wise, that it could've been -- some of his stuff was, I think; "Gitarzan" comes to mind.

Our 75 and 76 entries were OK (Shining Star and Fooled Around and Fell In Love, respectively) but for once, 77 is the first standout year in the set: Marvin's Got To Give It Up. Long version? Probably not.
Let's get right to it.

One of you guys was amazed at the lack of Starship (among others) in the BCO '78 set earlier? Well here ya go: Count On Me. Sing it, Marty.

Ya sure it wasn't "rough cut"? Might be a mondegreen, but it goes with the theme.

I've always heard "rough cut" too, but then I thought Kim Carnes was making crows blush (which would be difficult, what with crows being covered with feathers. And black).

You're right, I suppose that's usually what I thought it was, just heard it differently today.
