Well, OK, Tommy Tutone were actually from here.

OMFG! "Cast Your Fate to the Wind"!!! BOS for a total WTF moment (I LOVE this but can never tell if it's the Sounds Orchestral or Vince Guaraldi version).

Looked back at yesterday's list--there were four clinkers in there, IMO--the Counting Crows song, the Smashmouth, the Jim Carroll (which really stretched the rules), and the Jefferson Starship (a really weak selection given the other songs we could have heard from their catalog).  Today's set has been much higher quality overall.

AMG turns up a song called Sing Me a Rainbow by the Sons of Champlin and another with the same title by Dr. Hook and the Medicine show (penned by Shel Silverstein) but I don't think that was either of them.

the real bonus is... The f*@#ing Motels!  (we coulda heard "Ridgetop"!)

missed it 'cuz I was in a meeting so it's easy for me to see the silver lining - Dave will just have to play "Ridgetop" tomorrow.

The Motels are even less of a Bay area band than Jim Carroll--they're from LA!

Oh, and it sprung to mind that we haven't heard anything from Boz Scaggs yet either. I'd take Runnin' Blue as my first choice, but anything from Slow Dancer or earlier would be just fine.

I was thinking the same...Dave's probably saving up for "Loan Me A Dime".
