Ditto.  A one-hit-wonder who shouldn't have been.  Though I still suspect the refrain's looped -- her growl on the "time" right before "do it right" is a bit Memorex to my ears.

Actually, "Just Be Good To Me" and "The Finest", tho' they didn't reach the Top 40 pop, were HUGE R&B hits, and got mucho airpaly in NY as I recall.

that sounds about right! i remember i had just moved back to the bay from d.c., and was surprised to find a group for 10@10. i didn't have to listen alone anymore!
