I'm astonished none of you knew about that.  This got a lot of hype on its release with all the guest drummers & what not.  First time I'd ever heard of Cozy Powell, although with his serendipitous last initial he soon joined the reformed ELP for a halfway decent album.

Seriously, I was extremely plugged in to this sorta stuff back then, and I don't remember it.  I know the album didn't exactly burn up the NYC airwaves, either.

Ah, but if Dave had played his wonderful Thelma & Louise sndtk hit, "Part of Me, Part of You", in Monday's '91 set, *that* woulda been very cool.  His solo career peak, IMHO.

BONUS TRACK:  Aztec Camera - Jump

Not too bad for 85. I heard most of the first 5 tracks en route from the dentist back to work, went into the tunnel mid-Daltrey and came out in mid-Frey. Would have liked to have heard the REM, but I'd gladly trade that to miss the Bryan Adams. And got to hear what would have surely gotten my BOS, the Kinks tune.  Btw, whoever commented on the similarity between the Bowie/Metheny and Bryan Ferry tunes had the same thought I did--the suave British thing, I guess.  Have we ever heard the both of them in the same set before?

And btw, my number came up in the jury pool, so I'll miss tomorrow's set too, for sure, and quite possibly Friday's. Hoping for a quick jury selection that does not include me.
