I guess there was no hope of getting through the day without U2.

BOS #4, "A Sort of Homecoming".

...across the fields of mourning, lights in the distance...

is this tune #10? 'Twould make a nice bookend with "Fields of Fire".

Will try. All kinds of mishegoss going on here during the set so I wasn't able to listen too close, so I'd like to hear it again. I have a meeting to go to tonight, but should hopefully be home by 10.
Let's get right to it.

er,that was "IF This is it" (Huey Lewis), not "This is It" (Kenny Wimppins). But hey, it's all Yacht Rock one way or another.

Huey's in town playing the Jerry Orbach/Richard Gere role in the touring company of Chicago, which may explain why Dave got that song outta mothballs.

1.  Big Country - Fields of Fire
2.  ZZ Top - Legs
3.  Huey Lewis & the News - If This is it
4.  Joe Jackson - Be My #2
5.  Yes - Leave it
6.  Thompson Twins - Doctor Doctor
7.  The Time - Jungle Love
8.  Roger Waters - The Pros & Cons of Hitchiking (BEST OF SET!!)
9.  U2 - A Sort of Homecoming
10.  Talk Talk - It's My Life

BONUS TRACK:  The Cure - Love Cats
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

oh, uh. thanks. and don't talk trash about the log. :) huey in "chicago?" i like it! i'll agree with waters as best of set, even though tomorrow is jon anderson's birthday, and even though (tanc) tina turner's live version of "legs" just popped up on my itunes. and even though eddie was doing the bird.
