(for years I thought he was singing "lookin' at the gavel", I figured it was a song about a guy standing before a judge for sentencing.)

Dunno why VIP considers "One Bad Apple" to be soulful (I love it as bubblegum but jeez), but at least they followed it with Barbara Acklin's spectacular "Love Makes a Woman". On to Beach Music Friday!
