Another perfect song to suit my mood vis-a-vis my job, "This Song Is Over".

Can't wait for the day that I can say "it's all behind me".

It's a pretty amazing coincidence, considering he hasn't played that in several years at least.

Was that a longer version of the Pharm Chem report than what we've heard in the past? I don't recall the part about heroin and the USS Enterprise. Could just be me.
Let's get right to it.

I have that exact report on an Urthwerm special 1971 disc form several years ago, but on that day Dave cut it short before the bit about the USS Enterprise.  Fascinating stuff.

Guess I should read back in the thread--thanks for confirming my spotty memory.
Let's get right to it.

See above, as I was mentioning to you earlier off-line, this was one of the sets that I played last week for my friend Steve-with-the-houseboat.

Holy F*ck! Dave is pulling all his rabbits out the hat today, Pharm Chem, Sounds of the City & now "Timothy".

And a followup BOSwhatver+1 for Michael & his bros, Never Can Say Goodbye. Yep, another fine set today.

I'd have sworn the EJ was the #10 tune.

Ten Way Tie!!! (actually counting Pharm Chem & Sounds of the City this is a 12-way tie)

Jackson 5 - "Never Can Say Goodbye", believe it or not, Dave hasn't played this for over 3 years, although Gloria Gaynor's version has cropped up twice in the interim.

You were right if you were counting the twin-spin as 2 tunes.  Which makes it a 13-way tie.

When Dave said the Pharm Chem "got a ton of votes" that's because I called him & said I wanted to vote for it a million times, so it would be sure to win.  Dave replied, "You. Must be. HIGH."  I said, "I wish."
