Easy BOS to Duran Duran!  Loverly homerotic video, weird-ass lyrics -- it's the concentrated Duran!

indeed, a VVHM just 'cause I can't remember Dave ever playing this one -- at least not in ages.

Alfonso can be MY wild boy... I hear Ricky Schroeder taught him everything he knows...

in the name of jesus, stop playing u2!!!

it's a shame how sick bono has made me. they really headed south on a fast freight train after achtung, as far as i'm concerned.

I thought they hit the downward skids with Joshua Tree--too preachy, didn't rock enough. Acthung was actually kind of a nice surprise. Then came that stupid lemon.
Let's get right to it.

I feared as much- but I figured I'd give you the thrill of correcting me. Thanks!

joshua tree was a little bit acceptable because if the time. lots of activist folkie-types rearing their heads. but, yeah, the stupid lemon put u2 in my uhf category. completely non-existent.

actually it's Ribeiro, not Rebeiro.  (mshray is really on the job today!)

I never saw one second of that show, but the IMDb guest appearances list is impressive:  Sharon Stone, Matthew Perry, Whitney Houston, Erika Eleniak, Christina Applegate, Elizabeth Berkley, Gary Coleman, Mr. T, Jason Bateman, Ray Walston & John Houseman (the last three being regulars)

Am I thinking of the "I Wanna Rock" video?  Or the wrong person entirely?

Dee Snider?

And are you using the Thick Quotes Of Irony because she looked like a lipstick lesbian in the "Tell It To My Heart" video?

No, John Vernon wasn't in the Twisted Sister vid. The guy who played Neidermyer was. He was in 2, in fact. He played the teacher in "I Wanna ROCK (ROCK!)"
