Was totally listening to Top 40 as a 12-year-old in Sacramento, but I don't recall hearing it. Really.


Hrm. I know there were stations that banned it as being too salacious. Needless to say it got play in NYC, and of course it was heard on Casey Kasem's AT40 as well.

Bullet was also '72 -- they only got as high as #28, surprisingly.

Ack. That Rundgren voting block just can't be defeated. I'd have been fine with either the Yes or Chacachas tunes. And I love Hello It's Me too. Just wish TR didn't dominate the way he does.

There's a lot of Todd's catalog, both with Utopia and solo, that never gets played. Really, the only song after about 78 we ever hear is Bang the Drum All Day. There was a self-titled Utopia album in 82 that had several tunes that would spice up any '82 set.
