i hope we don't have to hear the "friends" theme.

and it would be swell if he closed with ned's atomic dustbin.

I'm hoping we don't get Laverne & Shirley (Making Our Dreams Come True) or the Happy Days theme--I think both charted.

ETA: And ditto for the Rockford theme, or any other one we hear regularly, for that matter.

Ah, CRAP.

Hey Mike, I was listening to the Underground Garage archives last week and noticed he'd done a whole show featuring music used on the Sopranos.  Did you catch it?  I was listening to his tribute to Hard Day's Night, but I'll have to catch the Sopranos set sometime soon.

Yes -- it was excellent. But then all his shows are a treat.

Agreed on the first two, not minding the Rockford so much, except it's probably taking the place of something else I'd rather, such as the "Theme From S.W.A.T."

At least he got it out of the way early.

BOS Banana Splits theme. (I still have the Banana Splits Club official singles at home. There were a couple of other kinda cool songs that were attributed to them, no idea who wrote them or played on them.)
Let's get right to it.

One banana, two banana, three banana, four.
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Comin' on to bring you The Banana Splits Show.

Makin up a mess of fun
Makin up a mess of fun
Lot's of fun for everyone.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.

Four banana, three banana, two banana, one.
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun.
Flippin like a pancake, poppin like a cork
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork.

Tra la la, la la la la.
Tra la la, la la la la.

BOS Little Roger & the Goosebumps, "Stairway to Gilligan". How could Percy & Co have, like NO sense of humor?

If Dave is playing "Stairway to Gilligan's Island", can the Green Acres/Purple Haze spoof "Green Haze" be far behind?

Back when this was new, the band started playing this at the Bammies, and suddenly a big video of a lawyer came on the screen, yelling stop, etc.  Kinda funny at the time.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

If only.  I'm betting that one's not on Dave's radar.
