Oh. My. Effing. God. Lonely Days, Lonely Nights. Major sledgehammer.

A truly superior set. This is one for the ages, no question.
Let's get right to it.

No good anagrams for my first and last name.  Add in "Rutchk" and you've got too many to think about, but I liked this one.

Is "Rutchk" your middle name?  Where did that come from?

This clinches the 10-way tie for me.

So your gonna archive it, right?

That being said, and with today being the last of the month, I am in the process of updating the Db to include the last 2 months as well as the several dozen sets that Urth had in his archives that weren't already in my Db.  And a new feature in the Db wil be a mention in the Notes column if the set is Urth's archive.

Actually "Rutchik" -- missed an "i" in there.  Yup, dat's my name, don't wear it out!  It's Russian meaning "little hand" or "pen", from what I've heard.  Used to be the family name -- my grandfather changed his name from "Max Rutchik" to "Richard Mack".  He was a radio writer in the early part of the 20th century writing for Groucho Marx, among others.

Does that eliminate Argentina?  I play online bridge with several people from Argentina, one of whom is an ardent fan.

Yep, they go home now. Too bad. I was hoping for them to go to the finals against England.

That's outstanding!  Actually my paternal grandfather was outstanding in his field as well.  Or rather he was out standing in his field - he was a farmer.

<rimshot>

(hey if I can't use that joke when the subject is early 20th century radio...)
