LIttle Feat kicks off, Woo Hoo!

I shamefully admit I heard the Ronstadt cover of this before I ever heard the orig.  But my this is a fine start.

I did too, in fact my progression was the Ronstadt cover, the live version from Waiting for Columbus, and then finally the original version we just heard.

Another Woo Hoo! for the Mighty Zep and the obvious proxy for Rod.  This is his favorite album, iirc.

Just a guess, but I'm assuming Ginger played "All That You Dream"?

BOS1, 2 & 3: Dan (Steely, not Fogelberg), Janis Ian, & Todd (even if it is the same one we heard last week).
Let's get right to it.

My second-favorite Zep song, next to "Trampled Underfoot."

I've always thought of "Trampled" as Zep-goes-disco; you could do quite the Funky Two-Step to it back in the day.

You can also incorporate it into my megamix medley with the Spencer Davis Group's "I'm a Man" and the Doobs' "Long Train Runnin'."

You're not gonna believe this, but I just won the quiz!  I told Ginger I can give the prize to my cousin Jerome.

Zowie. She must wonder about us and our 10@10 zeal.

Ginger loves us -- and we love her back. And her front. She rules!

Leaving Clapton's penchant for lazyass reggaefied covers aside for the moment...

It's odd, but I really do not remember ever hearing "...Heaven's Door" on the radio at the time.  And god knows I listened to a LOT of FM album radio.  And no, I wasn't doing drugs.

I have a disco-diva cover of "Long Train" from the mid-'90s. Don't ask me to name the singer. And there was a disco cover in the '70s of "I'm a Man" (again, artist name escapes me) obviously aimed at a gay audience.

Pretty good set, Clapton notwithstanding. Would love to hear "I'm Not In Love" but not holding my breath--we're nearing the end of the set methinks. And Welcome to the Machine is filling the synth-laden Brit prog rock slot for the day, I think.

BOS #9 - Floyd

Even if I hadn't won the tix I would be raving about what a great set this is & how much I wished we could tape the replay.  But how totally cool would it have been to tape this given the fact that I did win the tix?

Oh well.

I don't think they tape for posterity either. What tix did you win?

Ginger was surprised an online listener (you) was able to get through in time and thinks the online play delay is missing or minimized. Very cool
