Yep, I agree. Or say, maybe three appearances in any 12-month period?
It's a lot faster to see a simple count, but I think the metric that, when I take the time to calculate it, is appearance %. Since we get nearly twice as many '83 sets as we get late sixties or mid nineties, it really needs to be a rate, not a raw number. When I calculated it the first time around in the Katrina report, the threshhold that actually felt right was anything over 30%. And that also compensates somewaht for the discontinuous nature of the first third of the Db.
But like I said, that takes a few extra steps.
