For the bonus track Annalisa offered up Crowded House & the female Foghead thought about it & finally let Annalisa pick.  So she picked Hothouse Flowers "I'm Sorry".

That's what he told me when we went to POC's send-off/b-day party.  He also mentioned that she was moving from The City to Berkeley, so he was looking to be spending a lot of time riding BART.

If I stick to the formula of 5 times in my Db makes you a Katrina, then Dave has just turned both this Winwood tune & the earlier Alarm tune into Katrinas.

It's a lot faster to see a simple count, but I think the metric that, when I take the time to calculate it, is appearance %.  Since we get nearly twice as many '83 sets as we get late sixties or mid nineties, it really needs to be a rate, not a raw number.  When I calculated it the first time around in the Katrina report, the threshhold that actually felt right was anything over 30%.  And that also compensates somewaht for the discontinuous nature of the first third of the Db.

But like I said, that takes a few extra steps.

Point taken. Assuming that a given year shows up about once a month (for the more popular mid-70s to mid-80s years anyway), three times in 12 months would be 25%, and your 30% threshold is actually a more stringent level of katrina-ness. So I'm good with that.
