Ooh, "Sky High".  Jigsaw, right?  Sure sounds like Eric Carmen.

California Closets have been supplanted by... McDonald's.  Guess "Cheeseburger in Paradise" will show up in the next '78 set.

Nominating this one for the Best Set with the Fewest Posts--at least in a long while. Nuggets galore, from Pinball to the 10cc to Todd to Jigsaw to Bowie and America and even the Kiss tune, after a fashion. Nice, extremely varied set.
Let's get right to it.

well, no mshray, no princess, and a bored (bailed early?) Gaz add up to not much dialogue.  But yeah, I liked it too.

Bonus for Rod! Jeff Beck, "'Cause We've Ended as Lovers".

This reminds me of my first SF job at MetLife. We listened to KFOg all day, pretty much (it's where I first discovered 10@10), and this young guy from the LA office came for a few days to train us. This was '93 or so, and some Joe Satriani song was big on KFOG then. This guy was a HUGE Satriani fan, and I said, he good, but he's really just channelling Jeff Beck on songs like this. And the guy said "Who's Jeff Beck?"

He's the guy who, by no small coincidence, is playing the Warfield tonight. Rod, did you decide to go? Anyone else? I'll be there, doing the usher thing.

Way too busy today to catch the bonus track.  And I'm leaving tonight (on a jet plane), for some well deserved vacation in Georgia.

Going to Augusta and the Masters!

See y'all next Monday.

OK, since KFOG didn't manage to get this on their site, we're gonna have to do it ourselves:

4/04/06--Going all the way back to...1975!!!
America-Sister Golden Hair
Brian Protheroe-Pinball
David Bowie-Win
EWF-That's the Way of the World
10cc-Blackmail
Pete Wingfield-Eighteen With a Bullet
Grateful Dead-Franklin's Tower (Best Of Set!!!)
Todd Rundgren-Initiation
Kiss-Rock and Roll All Night
Jigsaw-Sky High

Bonus track: Jeff Beck- 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers

I''ve got 9 of the 10 tunes and the bonus track. Anyone recall what the missing song was? It was in the first half of the set, and I have a feeling it came between the Bowie and the 10cc songs, but I'm not gonna swear to it.

ETA: Thanks, Mike for the missing tune. Right you are, as always. If it's not in the right sequence, I'm sure you'll let me know.

ETA2: Well, some time between this afternoon and tonight, someone caught their mistake and added yesterday's set to the 10@10 page. And the EWF song was indeed between Bowie & 10cc--whew!
Let's get right to it.
