I have to admit this sounds pretty good...

But for Rock Operas, nothing still compares to Hair for me.  ....  I still have memories of my parents taking me and my younger brother and sister to Hair (nudity and all) in S.F., way back when....    :)

My folks took us to see the original cast of JCS off-Broadway (I was 7 & we lived in Long Island then), complete with the 39 lashes - which gave me nightmares for months.

Technically, Hair's not an "opera", just a musical. Dave has a Hair medley he plays occasionally too.
