OMG! Chi Coltrane! BOS5. Such a good thing ah found!

I'm about THIS close to a 10-way tie at this point--Chi Coltrane about seals the deal.

Yep--10-way tie. This Hollies song is fab.
Let's get right to it.

Chi Coltrane was the original size queen:

"I don't know how to handle it / It's more than I could bear / But I wouldn't try to run from it / It reaches everywhere!"

You'll never hear the song in quite the same way again.

LOL!

I felt that way about Toni Basil's "Mickey" after Christgau said it was about anal sex.

"Any way you wanna do it
I'll take it like a man..."

"Sunshine".... awwwwwww....

Surely there's Zep in store?

Sunshine muse have been played to death out here because it evokes really strong memories. Another Edwards song I like is Shanty.

Who, Alice, FM, just wonderful.
Bare Trees is a fab Mac tune and I don't remember hearing it back then.

Danny is a forgotten artist who wrote some great rock tunes for FM, and two songs of such delicacy, "Dragonfly" and "Dust", that it's a shame he kinda slid into mental illness, etc.   Curse of the original Mac I guess.
