Per the latest missive from KFOG PD Mat Bates, They're bringing back 10@10:

"We’ve spent a lot of time here at KFOG identifying how we can be the best community radio station for you, and on that note, we’ve got some major programming updates in 2018. I’ve been alluding to this, and without divulging it all at once- I can confidently tell you: KFOG’s legendary 10@10 program will return in 2018…very soon. KFOG’s own Steve Rockwell is hard at work creating the latest iteration of 10@10, and we can’t wait to get it on the air."

Wild guess: it won't go back further than 1980.

I'll probably listen to this, but I can't say I'm too excited. They burned 10@10 (and the rest of everything good about the old KFOG, except for Acoustic Sunrise/Rosalie) to the ground...bring it back just seems so...I dunno, watery. And signing on Rockwell as the host (although I don't mind him at all), seeing as he's the only remaining DJ (other than Rosalie...I don't count No Name) that resembles a link to pre-massacre KFOG, just seems like a desperate move to try to salvage former listeners.
