Dude, it's Prog Rock tarted up with New Wavish affectation. WOS Yes, "Leave It".  No sense of measure? No sense of pleasure!

Oh My Yes.

She had the last laugh -- and platinum albums to go with it.

Eeek! "HyperTrina" in my bones, "HyperTrina" in my stones...

I can't give anything less than a VHM to a song with a trombone solo, and any such song gets partial immunity from Katrina status.

BOS to U2 "A Sort of Homecoming"

btw, I'm back from my latest Asian sojourn.  Had a half day layover in Seoul on Sunday, so got to do some shopping on this street lined with artisan crafts & small galleries.  Bought some cool stuff, but the temp was in the teens at best.  Haven't exposed myself to that kind of cold in a long time.  Brrrrr.

ETA: this my was first time ever in Korea, so it was eminently worth it.  After a week in China, Korea seemed so clean and civilized.  And cold.

Agreed.  But semi-WOS to the Family Ties theme. "There ain't no nothin' we can't love each other through"? Yeesh. Sha-la-la-la indeed.

Another VHM to Icicle Works.  Ginger played this a while back and cleared up a question I have long had.  In the UK this was released as "Whisper To a Scream (Birds Fly)", but in the US it was inverted to "Birds Fly (Whisper To a Scream)".  I had always wondered because I had the import 11" single at first, but now I only have this song on a couple of US compilation CD's.  And I always had the UK title in my mind.

Now you're all gonna go off on Wang Chung again aren't you?
