The comedian reportedly died of a heart attack in Los Angeles earlier today.

Just catching up on this.  Very sad, always loved Shandling, and the Larry Sanders Show was pure unadulterated genius.

My favorite line of his doing stand up, opening his act: 

So I'm from Phoenix, where a baby's first words are, "But it's a dry heat."
