wow, '71 on a Thurs -- with an all-request Soul Patrol tomorrow!

And Mick & da Boyz singin' about massive boobs!

Let us remember that, now that U2 and Macca have split town, there are a good number of tickets for the Stones yet to be sold. It's a great song, but I don't expect that our hearing it today is a huge coincidence.

Yeah, tickets still avail but at what price!? I'm still heading up Tuesday without ticket in hand and hoping luck will come my way.
(When Stones came to San Jose a few years back I had up close tix but paid $300. Once was enough. Tix like that are now going for $1000 or better. Sheesh)

Exactly. Remain steadfast, dear Alicat. I am confident your labors will be rewarded. If you have to pay more than $40 to get in, I'd be shocked, and more than likely you'll get a good seat for less than that. Just be patient and wait til Metallica goes on to start shopping in earnest (unless a great deal presents itself earlier), and all will be well.
Let's get right to it.

Dave's flying the "spot the vinyl" flag on YM today, and I believe this Ashton Gardner and Dyke song is it.

Early 70s lo-fi, kinda like Lee Michaels.
Let's get right to it.

Lee Michaels is the one bonafide Katrina in a 1971 set, hope we can avoid him for today.

HM to Rod, in the days when no one imagined that he'd someday splooge all over the Great American Songbook.  Hell, I'd take 1981 disinterested new-wave Rod over his current incarnation.

And "Maggie May" is the other genuine Katrina.  But I'm not complaining, this is one fab set.
