The Tet Offensive by the way, was a military
disaster for the VC & NVA, but a political triumph nonetheless, and that proved ultimately more important. It was also a massive failure of military intelligence before, during & after for the US & ARVN. (in fact maybe the most important accomplishment of Tet was that the US high command lost all faith in the ARVN).
