No fair!  We should have gotten an extra tune!

Is this the Let it Be: Naked version of "Long & Winding Road" we're hearing? if so, I didn't realize KFOG had this in rotation.

I'm thinking so, but it's the first time I've heard it on the air.

Was bumming because the contest winner picked Steve Miller's Your Cash Ain't Nothin' But Trash, but now that I'm hearing it, maybe this wasn't such a bad choice. Kind of a fun song, in sort of the same vein as the Edgar Winter tune we heard last week.
Let's get right to it.

Meant to ask this trivia question Tuesday: What do the ELP and Dr John tracks from this set have in common? (I think this is the first time Dave's played 'em both in the same set.)

The Doctor John track mentions "brain salad surgery" in the lyrics, while ELP appeared on the album of that title.

That it?

Yup. It works for you, it works for me.

I'd never heard the expression before Dr John, and so was shocked when it turned up as the ELP album title.  Come to think if it, I've never heard it used in any other context.
